Unlike many home owners'
associations, the Property Owners' Association of Deep Creek Lake, Inc. (POA) is not a requirement for home ownership in the
lake area. Since membership is an option, the natural question about joining is “What is the POA and what does it do
for lake property owners?” Our website is intended to highlight the value of the POA and to encourage continued commitment
to the benefits provided by the organization. Inside
the Deep Creek Lake POA website, you'll find information and resource links to help you as property owners. We've added the POA Forum, where you can post comments and share news with other POA members.

of Deep Creek Lake is to bring together the property owners of the Deep Creek Lake area to promote, preserve
and protect the quality of life, environment, recreational opportunities, historic sites and historic areas in, on and around
Deep Creek Lake, Garrett County, Maryland.
